Women's Golf Sends Three Players to Lady Bulldog Individual

ATHENS, Ga. - University of Alabama women's golfer Daniela Lendl, Hannah Collier and Mia Landegren participated in the 2014 Lady Bulldog Individual Tournament over the weekend at the par-72, 6,335-yard University of Georgia Golf Course.

Lendl, a junior from Vero Beach, Fla., fired back-to-back rounds of 74 to finish at 4-over 148 in a tie for third place. She was one shot back of Auburn's Alex Harrell and Tennessee's Chessey Thomas, who tied for first at 3-over 147.

Landegren, a freshman from Bridgewater, Conn., rebounded with a final-round 76 to finish tied for 21st at 13-over 157 in her first action for the Crimson Tide. Senior Hanna Collier, of Birmingham, tied for 23rd position after a 36-hole total of 14-over 158. She opened with a round of 77 and closed with an 81.

The Lady Bulldog Individual served as one final tune-up for the 2014 spring season that gets underway on Feb. 16-18, at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic at the Rio Mar Country Club in Rio Grande. Alabama was won the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in each of its last four trips to the tournament (2008, 2010, 2011 and 2013).
