Women's Golf Sends Three to Lady Bulldog Individual Championship

ATHENS, Ga. - The Alabama women's golf is sending three individuals to the 2013 Lady Bulldog Individual Championship at the par-72, 6,335-yard University of Georgia Golf Course on Saturday.

The event will consist of two rounds on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. with the second round following immediately after the first with the same pairings. Crimson Tide sophomore Daniela Lendl, sophomore Johanna Tillström and senior Courtney McKim will be competing in the 45-player field.

There will be 13 teams represented at the 2013 Lady Bulldog Individual Championship. The Southeastern Conference will have seven teams competing with the Tide, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee. Also among the field will be Augusta State, Chattanooga, Furman, North Georgia, Southern California and Southern Miss.

The Alabama team kicks off its five-tournament spring slate on Feb. 10-12, at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic at the Rio Mar Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. The Crimson Tide has won the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in each of the last three times they have competed, winning in 2008, 2010 and 2011.
