"Stephanie Meadow and Jennifer Kirby are playing great golf," Potter said. "We had it going as a team pretty well at the beginning of the round, but we didn't take advantage of the par-5 fifth or ninth holes and that was a difference maker. We have to be better on Tuesday. We are in good position, now we just have to go out and put together a solid round."

She opened with three straight birdies on Monday and made the turn at 1-under after a double bogey on the ninth. The senior rebounded with a birdie on the 10th and 14th holes to close out her round.
Junior Stephanie Meadow is one shot back of Kirby at 5-under 139. The native of Jordanstown, Northern Ireland, recorded one birdie and one bogey on the front, but made three birdies on the back nine to finish with a 70.
