The eighth-ranked Alabama women's golf posted a 13-over-par 301 on Sunday to finish fourth at the SEC Women's Golf Championship on the par-72, 6,037-yard Greystone Golf and Country.

"I think we learned a lot about this team and that is one of the biggest takeaways from this tournament." Alabama head coach Mic Potter said following Sunday's round. "We are not hitting the shots we need in critical situations and our chipping and putting definitely cost us this weekend.
"The next few weeks are going to consist of a lot of hard work and a lot of playing. We will have to evaluate our lineup as well to make sure we are getting the best five girls on the team. We have a lot of depth, so the more competition at home the better."
Senior Stephanie Meadow and sophomore transfer Janie Jackson led the way for Alabama, both finishing tied for fifth at 3-over-par 219. Sophomore Emma Talley was closed behind in 13th at 7-over 223.
Talley posted the Tide's lowest score on Sunday with a final-round even-par 72 that included three birdies and three bogeys. Meadow shot 1-over 73 with 15 birdies two bogeys and one birdie on the par-4 16th hole.
Jackson, who entered the day tied for the lead at 1-under par, carded a 76 in the final round. The tie for fifth represented her best finish at Alabama, and was her second top 10 of the season. Her 219 total was also the best of her Crimson Tide career.
Hannah Collier's 8-over 80 was Alabama's fourth and final counting score. Collier, from Birmingham, finished tied for 61st at 20-over 236. Daniela Lendl's 82 on Sunday was dropped from the team total and she finished 66th at 23-over 239.
