TUSCALOOSA – The University of Alabama women’s basketball team (7-3) will enjoy a few days off for Christmas before heading back to work on the hardwood on Monday at 2 p.m. (PT) in California against Santa Clara.

The Crimson Tide will travel cross country on Dec. 26 and begin practice on the 27th for their Monday afternoon tilt with the Broncos (3-7). Alabama posted a 3-1 mark in their hectic pre-Christmas schedule that had the squad playing four games in a seven day stretch from Dec. 15-21.

UA’s game at Santa Clara marks the final contest of 2003 for the Tide. Alabama returns home to start the New Year with a game against Houston slated for Jan. 3 at 2 p.m. in Coleman Coliseum.
