Tide Women's Hoops Head to Florida for Three Games

TUSCALOOSA – The University of Alabama women’s basketball (5-2) team heads south to Florida for its final games before the Christmas holiday. The Tide meets Bethune-Cookman, Central Florida and Florida International in a three-game, two-city, four day tour.

Alabama opens up its “Sunshine State” stretch on Thursday night at 7 p.m. ET, against Bethune Cookman (1-3) in the UCF Holiday Classic in Orlando, Fla. UA faces tournament host Central Florida (2-4) on Friday night at 5:30 p.m. (ET).

The Tide then travels to Miami for a Sunday afternoon clash (2:00 p.m. ET) with Florida International.

Following their visit to Florida, Bama’s women will take a couple days off for Christmas before returning to action on Dec. 29 against Santa Clara in Santa Clara, Calif. Alabama’s next home game will be on Jan. 3 at 2:00 p.m. versus Houston.
