Alabama Women?s Basketball Has Lunch with Local Elementary Schools

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ?? The Alabama women’s basketball team took advantage of an off day in its practice schedule to have lunch with local elementary school students. The Tide visited seven different schools in the Tuscaloosa area.

The Tide split up and covered seven different elementary schools in the Tuscaloosa area. Players, team managers and coaches attended lunch with the kids.

Camilla Blands and Talisha Chandler went to lunch at Cottondale Elementary while Tierney Jenkins and Courtney Strauthers visited the kids at Englewood Elementary.

Alyson Butler and Varisia Raffington went to Faucett-Vestavia Elementary while Tamara Williams and Caitlin Hollifield had lunch with the kids from Holt Elementary.

Dedrea Magee and Daleisha Carn had fun with the kids from Huntington Place Elementary and Nathalie Reshard went to Matthews Elementary. Westwood Elementary was also visited by the Tide.

The University of Alabama women’s basketball team will host a free kid’s clinic for kids ages 5-12. The clinic is scheduled for Saturday, November 3 from 9-11:00 a.m. in Coleman Coliseum. Alabama will tip-off its exhibition slate against the University of West Alabama on Wednesday, 31. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at Coleman Coliseum.
