TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The women's basketball team will play its third straight top-25 opponent on Thursday when it hosts No. 13 Georgia at Foster Auditorium. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. CT with the game airing live on CSS and online at ESPN3.com.

Alabama and Georgia will be meeting for the 44th time in the series history. The Lady Bulldogs own a 34-9 record all-time against the Crimson Tide, including the last 21 straight. Alabama's last win over Georgia came on Feb. 8, 1998, in Tuscaloosa by a 90-77 decision.

Alabama enters Thursday on a two-game losing skid, having dropped both of its Southeastern Conference games this season. As a team, the Tide is averaging 69.6 points per game and 41.9 rebounds per contest. Additionally, Alabama is averaging 72.3 shots per game while its opponents are taking 60.6 attempts from the floor. The Tide has forced an average of 23.9 turnovers while committing only 13.4 of its own. This has translated into a 334-205 advantage in points off turnovers for Alabama.

Three players are averaging double figure points for the Tide including sophomore Daisha Simmons (11.7 ppg) and juniors Shafontaye Myers (11.3 ppg) and Jasmine Robinson (10.7 ppg). Senior Alicia Mitcham is Alabama's leader on the boards, averaging 5.1 rebounds per game.

Georgia started the season 12-0 but has since lost two of its last three games with a 70-59 loss at Illinois and a 79-66 loss at No. 12 Tennessee. The Lady Bulldogs are outscoring their opponents by 22.9 points per game, the 10th-best scoring margin in the nation, and are shooting 43.0 percent from the floor as a team.

Georgia has two players that average more than 10 points per game in seniors Jasmine James (12.5 ppg) and Jasmine Hassell (11.3 ppg).
