Women's Basketball Adds Lindsey Hicks to Staff

Hicks, a former collegiate and professional player, will serve as the team's video coordinator

Former collegiate and professional basketball player Lindsey Hicks enters her second season with the Tide women's basketball program as its video coordinator.

Hicks, who was a member of Purdue's No. 1 recruiting class in 2000, won three Big Ten titles playing under Curry and was team captain her senior year. Following graduation, Hicks went on to play overseas, where she enjoyed a successful six-year career in Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland. She was named MVP of the Danish League, winner of the Finnish Cup Championship and team captain of the Swedish teams three years in a row.

After hanging up her playing shoes in 2010, Hicks went on to become an assistant women's basketball coach at Morehead State University, where she spent two seasons. While in Morehead, she assisted with recruiting, scouting, post-player development and game planning, along with the video editing, team academics and travel. Since 2012, Hicks has spent time working as a sales and marketing manager and also has experience serving as a personal trainer.
