BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships will be televised live by VERSUS from Terre Haute, Ind. on Monday, Nov. 23. The men's 10,000 meter race will begin at 11:08 a.m. CT and the women's 6,000 meter race will follow immediately afterwards at 11:58 a.m. CT.

The Championships will be held at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center. The NCAA will also stream the event live at www.ncaa.com. Please check with your local cable provider for the VERSUS channel.

The SEC has three teams competing for the title in No. 3 Alabama, No. 19 Arkansas and No. 25 Auburn. The SEC Runner of the Year, Barnabas Kirui from Ole Miss will compete individually. In the women's race, No. 5 Florida will compete for the team title while Arkansas, Georgia and Tennessee all have student-athletes participating.

This will mark the first time ever the cross country championship will be broadcast in High Definition. The event can also be seen on VERSUS, a nationally known sports network, which can be seen in over 75 million U.S. homes. This is the third straight year the Division I Cross Country National Championships will be broadcast on live television.
