The University of Alabama men’s track and field program has released its schedule for the 2004 season and as is the case every season, some top flight meets are scheduled for the Crimson Tide.

Bama will spend most of the indoor season north of Tuscaloosa, competing in the Kentucky Invitational in Lexington, the Niswonger Invitational in Johnson City, Tennessee and two meets in South Bend, Indiana, the Meyo Invitational and a Last Chance Meet.

The 2004 indoor season will culminate with the SEC Championships being held in Lexington, Kentucky and the NCAA Championships being held once again in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The Tide will open the outdoor season with the Alabama Relays, March 18-21, followed by three weeks in the sun at the South Florida Invitational in Tampa, Florida, the Sun Angel Invite in Tempe, Arizona and the Mt. Sac Relays, the prestigious distance meet in Walnut, California.

The team will close out the regular season with the Drake Relays and the Ole Miss Invite before heading to post-season competition and the SEC Championships, NCAA Regional Championships and the NCAA Championships which are being held in Austin, Texas this year.
