Sophomore (2009-10)
Competed in all seven races for the Tide during the cross country season, leading the team in three...led Alabama in his first race at the Memphis Twilight Invitational where he finished fourth with a time of 19:25.63 over the 4-mile course...finished fourth at the Crimson Classic...posted a personal-best 8,000m time of 23:38.38 at the Bill Dellinger Invitational where he finished second...led Alabama to a second place team finish at Pre-Nationals with his 13th place finish...finished sixth at the SEC Cross Country Championships earning First Team All-SEC and leading Alabama to the team title...turned in an 11th place finish at the NCAA South Region Championships to earn All-South Region honors while the team won the title...set a personal-best 10,000m time of 30:08.6 as Alabama's third runner at the NCAA Cross Country Championships where he earned All-American honors for the first time with his 26th place finish...helped the Tide to its highest NCAA finish ever (3rd) ... was sixth at the SEC Indoor Championships in the 5,000m with a time of 14:08.25 ... won the 10,000m at the SeaRay Relays with a 29:26.66 finish ... also won the 5,000m at the Mississippi Open.
