Men's Tennis Hosts Crimson Tide Fall Championships This Weekend

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The men's tennis team will host its annual Crimson Tide Fall Championships this weekend at The University of Alabama Tennis Stadium. The tournament will run Friday, Nov. 2 through Sunday, Nov. 4, with matches starting at 9 a.m. CT each day.

Other teams competing in the tournament include Auburn, Furman, Jackson State, Middle Tennessee State, Samford, South Alabama, Southern Mississippi, Tennessee Tech, Tulane, UAB and West Alabama.

In singles, there will be four draws of 16 players, and in doubles there will be four draws of eight doubles teams. The tournament will be played in a compass draw format in which players will compete every day regardless of whether they win or lose their match.

Friday's schedule of play includes two rounds of doubles followed by one round of singles, while Saturday's slate will have one round of doubles and two rounds of singles. The final round of singles will be played on Sunday.

Results and updated draws will be posted on throughout the weekend.
