TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -
The men's tennis team will host its annual Crimson Tide Fall Championships Friday, October 28 through Sunday, October 30, at the Alabama Tennis Stadium. "Our fall tournament always seems to be an ideal timeframe to cap off the end of the fall schedule while allowing our full roster to get some important playing opportunities," said Alabama head coach Billy Pate. "It has become a popular event, and we enjoy having teams from various regions compete at our facility."
Representing the Tide this weekend will be seniors Vikram Reddy and Michael Thompson, juniors Harris Barnard and Jarryd Botha, sophomores Daniil Proskura and Carlos Taborga and freshmen Brian Conlon, Stuart Kenyon and Rens van der Vis.
"We had a solid outing last week at Auburn," added Pate. "We'd like to continue building on that success with a positive showing at our home courts this weekend."
Matches will begin at 9 a.m. CT on Friday with the opening round of doubles, followed by the first two rounds of singles.
