TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Members of the men's tennis team will travel to Cambridge, Mass. to take part in the Harvard Fall Invitational that will run Friday, Oct. 9 through Sunday, Oct. 11. All matches are being held at the Beren Tennis Center.

"We're looking forward to the event at Harvard this weekend," said head coach Billy Pate. "We need matches, and with the format we're guaranteed some strong competition. We haven't been to Harvard since the 2002-2003 season, so it will be a great experience for our guys."

Along with the Alabama, Minnesota, Notre Dame and, host institution, Harvard will take part in the three-day event.

The Crimson Tide is looking forward to getting on the courts as much of its fall season has been dampened by inclement weather. Alabama hits the courts first at 8:30 a.m. on Friday. Play will run throughout the day, and resume Saturday at 8:30 a.m. (CST). Sunday is slated to begin at 8:00 a.m. (CST).
