Proskura and Taborga set for All-American Championships

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Juniors Daniil Proskura and Carlos Taborga will play their first matches at the 2012 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Men's All-American Championships on Monday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla. The qualifying round will run through Wednesday, Oct. 3, with the main draw to follow on Oct. 4-7.

Proskura and Taborga were selected to compete in the prestigious tournament based on their preseason national ranking of 33 in doubles. In addition, Proskura was chosen to take part in the singles tournament due to his individual ranking of 59.

Singles quarterfinalists, doubles finalists and consolation champions in the main draw will receive automatic entry into the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships on Nov. 8-11, which is held at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.
