Myneni Wins Thailand F2 Futures Singles Title

BANGKOK, Thailand - Former Crimson Tide standout Saketh Myneni recently collected his third singles title of the year, winning the Thailand F2 Futures crown at the Rama Garden Sports Complex.

Myneni, who played for Alabama from 2007-10, was seeded third in the tournament and won all five of his matches in the 32-man draw in straight sets, including the finals against Australia's Andrew Harris, 7-6(4), 6-1.

Myneni is currently ranked 302nd in the International Tennis Federation in singles, holding a record of 20-5 in 2013 in main draw matches. He is also ranked 320th in doubles, going 16-5 thus far this season. In addition to his title in Thailand, Myneni won the India F4 Futures and India F5 Futures singles tournaments and the USA F7 Futures and India F5 Futures in doubles.
