The men's tennis team (10-13, 2-8 SEC) will take on 16th-ranked Auburn (15-8, 4-6 SEC) on Saturday in the regular season finale, which is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. CT. The match will also serve as Senior Day, recognizing Ricky Doverspike, Vikram Reddy and Michael Thompson in their final home match.
Alabama has already picked up a pair of wins this week, sweeping UAB 4-0 before earning a 4-3 win at Samford, both of which occurred on Wednesday. In the latest rankings, the Crimson Tide has three nationally-ranked singles players in No. 102 Daniil Proskura, No. 119 Reddy and No. 121 Doverspike, as well as two ranked doubles teams in No. 34 Jarryd Botha and Doverspike and No. 72 Carlos Taborga and Proskura.
Auburn enters Saturday's contest on a two-match losing skid, having fallen 5-2 to No. 19 Tennessee and 6-1 to No. 4 Georgia at home. The Tigers boast two nationally-ranked singles players in No. 19 Andreas Mies and No. 90 Alexander Stamchev. In addition, they have two ranked doubles combinations with Stamchev and Mies coming in at No. 14 and Cochrane and Stamchev ranked No. 82.
Alabama is 55-31-1 all-time against Auburn, however the Tigers have won the previous two meetings, which includes a 4-0 win last season at Auburn.
