Alabama Men?s Tennis Moves Up Two Spots in ITA Rankings

TUSCALOOSA, Ala.- The University of Alabama men’s tennis team moved up two spots to No. 33 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings released today. 

 

The University of Georgia is ranked No. 1 for the second time this season along with fellow SEC teams including No. 6 Ole Miss, No. 15 Florida, No. 22 LSU, No. 30 Arkansas, No. 31 Kentucky, No. 38 South Carolina, No. 40 Auburn, No. 41 Tennessee, No. 53 Mississippi State and No. 65 Vanderbilt.

 

The Tide is 2-0 to start the 2007 dual match season, with a 5-2 win over Troy and a 7-0 shut-out over Jacksonville State last Saturday.

 

Alabama hosts No. 5 Virginia (3-0) on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 12 p.m. at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.
