TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The men's tennis team will be back in action this weekend when it takes on Alabama State and Jackson State on Saturday. The matches, slated to begin at 9 a.m. and Noon, respectively, are the first two dual matches of the season for the Crimson Tide.

Despite the proximity, Alabama will be facing the Hornets and Tigers for only the second time in program history and first since 1981. The Tide swept both previous matches by a 9-0 decision.

Alabama returns nine players from a season ago but will have to replace three seniors that saw significant playing time. The Tide is under the direction of first-year head coach George Husack and assistant coach Ryler DeHeart.

Live scoring will be available for both of Saturday's matches and can be found by clicking here. Additionally, you can find more news on the men's tennis team by liking the Tide on Facebook or following the team on Twitter @AlabamaMTN.
