The Alabama men's tennis team went 3-0 in singles play on Sunday in the second round of qualifying at the Bluewater Bay Championships. All three of the Crimson Tide's wins came in straight sets.
Stuart Kenyon picked up Alabama's first win of the day, topping Brad Marriott 7-6(1), 6-3 in the morning match. Becker O'Shaughnessey followed that up with a 6-0, 7-5 win over Siim Tuus, while Daniil Proskura downed Jonathan Stenberg, 6-3, 6-2.
Matches resume at 9 a.m. CT on Monday with the third round of singles.
