The Crimson Tide picked up three of its wins in doubles and another five in singles.

In doubles, three of the Tide's four teams moved on with wins in the second round. Junior Jarryd Botha and freshman Rens van der Vis posted an 8-6 decision over UAB's team of Danny Manlow and Chris Helliar, as did sophomores Daniil Proskura and Carlos Taborga over Mississippi's Joe Rogers and Adrian Skogeng. "Vikram has a great day two," added Pate. "He had two good wins in singles while playing really strong doubles."
Botha added a win in his first match of the day, posting a 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(12) win over LSU's James Turbevill, but Botha would end up falling 6-2, 6-4, to Mississippi State's Louis Cant in the next round.
