Men's Tennis Earns Five Wins at USTA Futures Tournament

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The men’s tennis team picked up five wins in the first round of qualifying at the USTA Futures tournament in Birmingham, Ala., which is being held at Highland Park.

Three of the Crimson Tide’s wins came from freshmen Hayes Brewer, Saxon Buehning and Nikko Madregallejo, while juniors Andrew Goodwin and Stuart Kenyon were Alabama’s additional two advancing players.

Second round matches begin at 10 a.m. CDT on Saturday. There will be two additional qualifying round matches, one on Sunday and one on Monday, before main draw action begins.
