Alabama's Daniil Proskura
will play in the consolation finals of the singles main draw at the Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships on Sunday, thanks to a pair of victories in straight sets on Saturday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
In his first match of the day, the Crimson Tide senior held on to defeat Lloyd Glasspool of Texas, 6-3, 7-6(9). Proskura went on to dominate the second match, topping Florida's Stephane Piro, 6-3, 6-0.
Proskura will now take on UCLA's Clay Thompson in the finals on Sunday at 10 a.m. CT.
