Began the season ranked No. 106 nationally...Finished the season with a 3-1 singles record, playing at the No. 5 and 6 positions...Collected a 7-6 (5), 6-2 victory over Chris Motes of No. 69 Furman on the opening weekend of the season...Collected two doubles victories at the No. 3 position...Had an impressive start to his first season in the crimson and white with an 8-2 singles record in the fallincluding a big win to capture the USTA National Tennis Center Men's Tennis Invitational Finals...Also advanced to the quarterfinals of the HEB Baylor Invitation before falling to teammate, and eventual champion, Jung...Defeated No. 80 Vijay Paul of Vanderbilt 6-4, 6-2 at the Crimson Tide Fall Championships...Also competed in doubles where he picked up a pair of victories with Felsenthal.
