Thirteen teams head to Tuscaloosa for five-day tournament
2014-15 (SOPHOMORE) Won eight singles and three doubles matches … ended the dual match season on a four-match winning streak in singles … added four singles victories and another two in doubles throughout the fall season … picked up a pair of wins in singles at the Crimson Tide Four-in-the-Fall, topping Samford’s Austin Akers, 7-6(4), 5-7, 6-4, and South Alabama’s Juan Troglia, 7-6(4), 6-4 … also added two wins in doubles at the home tournament teaming up with Sam Edwards to defeat Iain Sneddon and Cedric Rutsaert of Tulane, 8-1, as well as well as Akers and Fares Kilani of Samford, 8-5 … won two singles matches at the USTA/ITA Southern Regional Championships, beating Zach Barnes of Auburn, 6-3, 6-3, and Luis Albuquerque of New Orleans, 6-1, 6-0.
2013-14 (FRESHMAN) ITA Scholar-Athlete … SEC First-Year Honor Roll … won seven singles and nine doubles matches in his first season with the Tide … picked up an SEC victory in singles against Arkansas … won two of his last three singles matches of the season … held a 3-1 record in singles to start dual match play … helped Alabama to its first win over No. 13 Kentucky since 2009, clinching the doubles point with Andrew Goodwin … won singles matches at both the Southern Intercollegiates and USTA/ITA Southern Regional Championships … advanced to the round of 16 in doubles with Andrew Goodwin at the southern regionals.
