Men's Golf Travels to Isleworth Collegiate Invitational

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Fresh off of its first team victory of the season at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate, the Alabama men's golf team will travel to the 2012 Isleworth Collegiate Invitational, hosted at the par-72 7,544-yard Isleworth Golf and Country Club in Windermere, Fla.

The three-day event is set to begin Sunday, October 21, and will conclude Tuesday, October 23, with one round of 18 holes being played daily.

No. 3 Alabama will be joined at the Isleworth Invitational by No. 1 California, No. 2 Texas, No. 6 Florida, No. 8 Arkansas, No. 12 LSU, No. 13 Illinois, No. 17 New Mexico, Augusta State, Indiana, North Florida, TCU, Vanderbilt and hosts Texas Tech and UCF.

Fresh off of his school-record tying fifth individual title at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate, sophomore Justin Thomas will anchor the lineup along with junior Bobby Wyatt, who finished tied for fourth at the JPNI and junior Cory Whitsett, who also finished in the top-10.

Rounding out the starting lineup for head coach Jay Seawell's team is junior Trey Mullinax and redshirt freshman Tom Lovelady.
