  • Three-time U.S. Amateur participant (2004, 2005, 2006), UA’s first three-time qualifier
  • Finished tied for sixth at both the 2006 and 2007 Southern Amateur, shooting 67-71-70-71/279, -1 in 2007 and 71-69-71-70/281, -3 in 2006; he tied with his UA teammate Mark Harrell for 6th in 2006

  • Member of four-man USA team that won the Gold Medal at the 2005 Toyota World Junior Golf Team Championships (held in Japan in August) • Finished eighth overall individually at World Junior Team Championships (73-69-67-70/279) at nine under par
  • 2004 U.S. Junior Amateur participant • 2004 AJGA Rolex All-American
  • 2001 Southern Junior Amateur champion
  • Ranked among top 10 nationally by GolfWeek as a junior golfer
