Men's Golf Advances to NCAA Championship Final with 4-1 Win over LSU

HUTCHINSON, Kan. - The defending NCAA champion Alabama men's golf team beat Southeastern Conference foe LSU 4-1 in match play to advance to the NCAA Championship Final. The Crimson Tide will play the winner of the Stanford-Oklahoma State match for the national title.

Bobby Wyatt won 3 and 2 at No. 1 while Robby Shelton picked up the win 2 and 1 at No. 2. Tom Lovelady came away with the point at No. 3, finishing 1 up 3 while Trey Mullinax won 4 and 2 at No. 4 to round out the Tide's victories. Mullinax's win closed out LSU and advanced the Tide to its third straight NCAA Championships final.
