He graduated from high school early, earning his diploma from Montgomery Academy in December 2007 ... enrolled in school and began attending classes at Alabama in January 2008 in order to get a jump on school and golf ... redshirted during the spring of 2008.

Hamrick played in the 2005 U.S. Amateur ... was the youngest player in the field at the 2006 U.S. Amateur (age 15) ... played in the 2003 U.S. Junior Amateur, and at age 13, was the youngest in the field ...
