Countdown to Kickoff
Q&A with Landon Collins

Dec. 28, 2013 How has practice been this week?
Collins: Practice has been going great. We're hyped up for the game and ready to play. What's the motivation for this team in the Sugar Bowl against Oklahoma?
Collins: We want to show we're still one of the top defenses in the country and one of the top teams in the country. We want to be dominant. How excited are you to play in your home state?
Collins: For me, it is home. My family members don't have to travel as far, and I get to see my family. That's the most important thing to me. What's it been like to practice in the Superdome this week?
Collins: It's an amazing feeling. To be practicing in the dome is crazy. When we walked in as a team, it was an amazing feeling just to be on the field. Being in my home state, I always dreamed in high school to play on the field. Now, I'm playing on it in the Sugar Bowl, an even bigger event. It's amazing for me. How many ticket requests have you had?
Collins: At least 20. I couldn't get that many, but I tried my best.
