Dec. 28, 2013

NEW ORLEANS - The Crimson Tide football team conducted a two-hour practice at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome Saturday afternoon in preparation for its matchup with No. 11 Oklahoma in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The practice was the team's second session since arriving in New Orleans Friday afternoon and the 10th practice session of the bowl season.

Head coach Nick Saban and a handful of players met with the members of the media following practice.

"It's been high intensity," junior tight end Brian Vogler said. "We can feel the anticipation growing as we get ready for the game. It's been a fun atmosphere."

The team will make a visit to the Aquarium of the Americas Saturday night and practice in the Saints' indoor facility Sunday.
