TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -
The Crimson Tide football team practice for two hours on Saturday afternoon at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility, where it continued its game preparations for the upcoming matchup with Oklahoma in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The game will take place on Thursday, Jan. 2, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. CT.
Alabama, making its 61st bowl appearance, owns the record for most bowl games played (60) and most victories (34). The Tide is going bowling for the 10th year in a row, after playing in the Music City Bowl (2004), Cotton Bowl (2006), Independence Bowl (2006-07), the Sugar Bowl (2009), the Citi BCS National Championship Game (2010), the Capital One Bowl (2011), the Allstate BCS National Championship Game (2012) and Discover BCS National Championship Game (2013) over the past nine seasons.
Alabama will practice two more times, once on Sunday and once on Monday, before breaking for the holidays.
