TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama football team practiced for two hours in full pads at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
"This is another game that we need to win," sophomore defensive back Robert Lester said. "As Coach Saban says, every game is important. I'm pretty sure everybody on our team is motivated to go in and win, so we're going to execute and play our game."
Pro Football Weekly released its' All-America team and three Alabama players were named to the team. Marcell Dareus was one of two defensive tackles named to the first team along with Auburn's Nick Fairley, while Mark Barron and Julio Jones were listed as honorable mention at safety and wide receiver.
Alabama will face off against Michigan State in the 2011 Capital One Bowl on New Year's Day at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla. The game will be televised by ESPN with Brad Nessler, Todd Blackledge and Holly Rowe on the call.
