Music City Bowl to Honor Youth Championship Teams

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. --- The Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl will honor 59 youth football championship teams in a "Champions Ceremony" prior to kickoff of the Alabama-Minnesota game on Dec. 31.  The youths range in age from 5-14 years-old.

As part of the Bowl's Youth Football Program, championship little league teams from the City of Huntsville Recreation Services Youth Football League, the Madison County Youth Football League, the Muscle Shoals Pee Wee Football League and 75 Middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky communities will be invited to attend the bowl game.  Approximately 20,000 youth football players, cheerleaders and coaches participated in the program.

Champions from the Huntsville Recreation League were Eastern League Cougars, Lakewood Steelers, National League Redskins and the Southern League Rebels; champions from Madison County were the Monrovia Blue Panthers, Monrovia Black Panthers and Monrovia White Panthers and from Muscle Shoals champions were the Titans, Rams and Raiders.
