TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama football team headed indoors due to inclement weather and practiced for two hours in full pads, Tuesday afternoon in the Hank Crisp Indoor Practice Facility.
"Practice has been going well," junior linebacker Dont'a Hightower said. "We stepped it up today with our tempo and mental intensity, so I felt like we took a step in the right direction. It is going to be a hard fought game so everyone is taking care of business in the training room and in film."
Saturday's game marks the 76th meeting between the Crimson Tide and Tigers. Alabama leads the series 40-34-1, but was edged in last season's meeting, 28-27. Prior to that, the Tide had won two in a row, including a 36-0 decision in 2008 and a 26-21 victory in 2009.
Saturday's game will be broadcast nationally on CBS with Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson and Tracy Wolfson calling the action.
