Crimson Tide senior Matt Miller and freshman Jimmy Johns have been named the Pontiac Game Changing Performance winners as announced on ESPN during halftime of Thursday night's Boise State-Fresno State football game.

With Bama leading 3-0, Johns stripped Derek Pegues of Mississippi State on the opening kickoff of the second half.  Miller then scooped up the ball and returned it 17 yards for his first career touchdown and a 10-0 Alabama lead.

The award marks the fifth time this season that Alabama has had a play named the Pontiac Game Changing Performance winner.  Each time Pontiac donates $5,000 to UA's general scholarship fund.

Pontiac has now donated $25,000 to the Alabama general scholarship fund.
