TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Head football coach Mike Shula's comments Thursday evening centered around his offensive line as the University of Alabama prepares for it's matchup with Mississippi State on Saturday.

"Atlas (Herrion) is going to play, obviously," Shula said.  "(He will) start at left tackle.  We're not sure with Dennis (Alexander), but if Dennis can't go then Danny Martz (will), he's had a good week.  Danny had probably a little more playing time than people realize, too.  He's been in there, especially the last few weeks."

He also announced game captains for Saturday:  DeMeco Ryans (special teams), David Cavan (offense), Roman Harper (defense).

Saturday's game will be the 88th meeting between these two border rivals.  This will be Alabama's first trip to Starkville since 2000 as the two teams played in Tuscaloosa the last two years due to a scheduling quirk.

Handling the announcing duties for JP Sports' 11:30 kickoff are Dave Neal (play-by-play), Dave Rowe (analyst) and Dave Baker (sideline). The game will also be aired on the 80-plus station Crimson Tide Sports Network with Eli Gold (play-by-play), Kenny Stabler (color analyst) and Tom Roberts (sidelines) describing the action.
