TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team closed out the week with a short practice to conclude its open week.
Alabama head football coach Mike Shula said this weekend would be dedicated to family time for himself and his players.
"I'm going to finish up some work today and tomorrow and take Saturday off," he said, "then get back to work on Sunday."
The Crimson Tide will return to practice on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. and conduct a full-scale practice with detail on the Miss. State game plan. Alabama's next game is Saturday, Nov. 8 at Mississippi State. The game will be televised regionally by Jefferson Pilot Sports beginning at 11:30 a.m. (CT) from Scott Field.
"We all have been through a lot," Shula said. "We've been through some games we'll never forget, now let's go win some games."
