TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -The University of Alabama football team continued practice on Tuesday at Thomas-Drew Field, despite having its first open date nine games into the season.
"We rested some of the older guys who have played a lot," head coach Mike Shula said. "We conditioned everyone well and worked a lot with the third team and scout team guys."
The Crimson Tide will practice again on Wednesday and Thursday of this week before taking off Friday and Saturday.
The Tide takes the field in Starkville, Miss. against the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Nov. 8. The game will be televised by Jefferson Pilot with the kickoff set for 11:30 a.m. The meeting will mark the 88th time the two schools have met.
