The University of Alabama football team worked out for just over an hour this afternoon in helmets and shorts in its final preparation for this weekend's Homecoming game against Utah State.
Head coach Mike Shula was pleased with this week's preparation.
"We've had three pretty good days of practice," said Shula. "Today was all our down and distance, move the ball stuff. The guys worked hard, looked good and we just have to take that to the field on Saturday."
The captains Saturday will be Mark Anderson (defense), Tim Castille (offense) and Juke King (special teams).
It will be a packed sideline for the Tide on Saturday as the team will dress all the players for the non-conference game.
Alabama will have a walk-through on Friday before the seniors head over to the quad to speak at the annual Homecoming pep rally.
Kickoff on Saturday is scheduled for 2:07 p.m. and the game will be televised in Alabama and Utah on a pay-per-view basis.
