Green Bay tailback Eddie Lacy surpassed 100 total yards and a pair of former Alabama linebackers reached double digit tackles in Sunday's NFL action.
Lacy, who ran for a career-high 120 rushing yards a week ago, rushed for 82 yards on 22 carries in the Packers' 31-13 win over the Cleveland Browns Sunday. The rookie plunged in the end zone on a one-yard run to give the Green Bay a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. He added five receptions for 26 yards, giving him 108 total yards on the day.
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker DeMeco Ryans was all over the field in a 17-3 loss to the Cowboys Sunday. Ryans finished with nine tackles, a sack and a pass deflection. Ryans also had an interception, which he returned 36 yards to set up the Eagles' only scoring drive of the day.
New England Patriots linebacker Dont'a Hightower racked up 11 tackles and one quarterback hurry in a 30-27 overtime loss to the New York Jets. Jets rookie Dee Milliner had six tackles in the win.
Kareem Jackson notched six tackles and a fumble recovery for the Houston Texans in a 17-16 loss to the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs, and Cincinnati cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick recorded two tackles and recovered a fumble in the Bengals' 27-24 win over the Detroit Lions.
