Crimson Tide Holds First Practice of the Week on Monday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The top-ranked Alabama football team began its preparations for Tennessee with a two-hour practice on Monday at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields. The Crimson Tide and Volunteers will square off in Bryant-Denny Stadium at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday.

Earlier in the day, AJ McCarron and Kenyan Drake were both recognized by the College Football Performance Awards as McCarron was named Honorable Mention Quarterback of the Week and Drake Honorable Mention Running Back of the Week. McCarron was 15-21 for 180 yards and three touchdowns in the 52-0 win over Arkansas, while Drake recorded eight carries for 104 yards and two touchdowns in the shutout victory.
