The University of Alabama football team had its final practice before Saturday's game with rival Tennessee and head coach Mike Shula was pleased with what he saw.

"I thought practice went well," said Shula.  "It started a little bit slow, but other than that we've have three good practices.  The main thing now is for the players, on their own, finish up looking over things and getting ready for a good day tomorrow."

Shula added that the week felt a little different due to the tradition of the match up between the Tide and the Vols.

"I think anytime you play an SEC team and the tradition of this game and these two schools, it feels different, not just today but the whole week," said Shula.

The Crimson Tide will have one final walk through on Friday at Neyland Stadium.

Alabama and Tennessee are scheduled for a 2:34 p.m. CT kickoff with the game being nationally televised live on CBS.
