With speakers blaring crowd noise and various cheers, the Crimson Tide football team continued its preparation for the 11th ranked Tennessee Volunteers.

Head coach Mike Shula was pleased with the way his team responded to the distractions.

"We've had two pretty good days," said Shula.  "We had the crowd noise today and we handled it better than we did the first time going into the Arkansas game."

The Crimson Tide will hold one more practice on Thursday before departing for Knoxville on Friday where they'll have a brief walk through at Neyland Stadium.

"Friday's going to be here before we know it, we're going to be taking off pretty early and have a pretty full schedule Friday," added Shula.

The Tide and the Vols are scheduled to kick-off at 2:34 p.m. CT with the game being televised nationally on CBS.
