TUSCALOOSA, Ala. For the second straight week and the third time overall this season, the University of Alabama football team will play the Southeastern Conference’s early game when the Tide’s game against Tennessee kicks off at 11:34 a.m. (CDT) in Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 20. The game will be shown live on the Lincoln Financial Sports Network (LFS).
Alabama enters the annual “Third Saturday in October” contest with a 5-2 mark and a two-game win streak after its dramatic 27-24 victory over Ole Miss in Oxford last Saturday. The Vols are 4-2 after their 33-21 win over Mississippi State last week and own a three-game win streak heading into the showdown with the Tide.
Dave Neal (play-by-play), Dave Archer (color) and Dave Baker (sideline) will call the action for the Lincoln Financial Sports Network. The game will appear on 67 stations in a nine-state region and can also be seen on ESPN Game Day on satellite and digital cable networks outside of the nine-state area.
The Tide is 2-0 in games shown on LFS in 2007, including a pair of road victories over Vanderbilt on Sept. 8 and the win over Ole Miss last weekend.
