TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The football team held its second practice of the week with a two-hour session at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields as it continues to work towards Saturday's game at Mississippi. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. CT in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

"Mississippi is always a physical team," said senior center William Vlachos. "They always play us very close. The last couple of years we have only averaged about 22 points against them on offense, so that is something we need to correct. I think, with the game being at their place, it is going to be a challenge. We are looking forward to another tough challenge and another SEC game on the road."

The Crimson Tide will look to continue its road success when it heads to Oxford, as Alabama is 13-2 in true road games since the 2008 season. This will be the Tide's third away contest of 2011 having already picked up wins at Penn State and Florida.

Saturday's game will air on ESPN2 with Mark Jones calling the play-by-play, Ed Cunningham as the color analyst and Jeannine Edwards on the sidelines.
