Alabama continues working on game plan for Missouri

Oct. 9, 2012

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The No. 1/1 football team practiced for approximately two hours on Tuesday at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields as it continued focusing on this weekend's matchup against the Missouri Tigers.

"Missouri is a good football team," said junior quarterback AJ McCarron. "They are very sound on defense and make you move the ball down the field. Everybody on defense knows what they are supposed to do, and they do it well."

Alabama heads to Columbia as one of three teams in the nation that remains perfect in the red zone, as the Crimson Tide has scored on all 22 of its trips inside the 20-yard line. Alabama has recorded 16 touchdowns and six field goals thus far.

Kickoff for Saturday's game is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT and will be televised nationally by CBS, with Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson calling the action and Tracy Wolfson reporting from the sideline.
