TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Alabama-Tennessee, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, will be televised by CBS Sports, the network and Southeastern Conference Office announced Monday afternoon.
The game will kickoff at 2:34 p.m. (CST) from Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.
The Tennessee game marks the Crimson Tide's fifth television appearance of the season and its fourth on CBS Sports. The network also aired Alabama's games at Arkansas (Sept. 23), at Florida (Sept. 30) and against OIe Miss (Oct. 7).
Alabama has appeared on CBS 12 times in its last 19 games, including eight times during the 2005 season. Alabama's 6-3 win over Tennessee last year in Tuscaloosa was also televised by CBS Sports. Jamie Christensen's 34-yard field goal with 13 seconds to play gave the Crimson Tide the win.
The SEC has two other television games next weekend, including Ole Miss at Arkansas (Lincoln Financial Sports, 11:30 a.m., CST) and Fresno State at LSU (espn2, 8 p.m., CST).
