University of Alabama head football coach Mike Shula took his Crimson Tide football team through a two-hour practice Sunday night and he was pleased with the effort.

"I thought we had a really good practice," Shula said, "I don't know if it was the cool weather or what, but they were moving around pretty good.

"Hopefully, the couple of days off got some guys rested.  We got a little extra preparation today on Ole Miss," he added.

Kickoff for that game will be 11 a.m. (CT) and will be shown nationally as the first game of a CBS doubleheader.

"Injury-wise, Prothro (Tyrone) is still in the hospital," Shula said, "we want to make sure everything is ok before he is released.  He is doing fine."

Shula added that freshman safety Cory Reamer, who injured a knee last week, is scheduled to have "surgery sometime this week."

The Tide will be off Monday and resume practice on Tuesday.
